“A core spot of the city that needs a new urban look”
Currently, the region is densely populated with low-rise residential buildings. Due to the aging and poor environment, there is a lack of open space for local residents, and an urban open space plan is needed. We propose to make the site a key hub of the Yongmasan Station area as the starting point for an urban open space.
First, the site is designed to become an open communication space in the city by having an open space. The community specialization that can overcome the 20-meter level slope resolves the disconnection between areas and makes it a comfortable and easy-to-use public space through the atrium that opens to the city.
1. OPEN SPACE in Urban
An open space that can activate publicness by considering the connection with the surrounding area
2. Link in VALLEY
Special community using a 20m level difference : a multi-level community space connecting LV.29 Open Yard and LV.49 Yongma Mountain Road
3. Complex in ATRIUM
Convergence of diverse cultures and life : A new administrative and cultural complex town in Myeongmok-dong that combines various functions such as life, culture, and administration
