An unknown world, a world in the clouds

We dreamed of a cultural hub where new experiences and inspiring art meet.

The project site is the 'Sampyo Ready Mixed Concrete Site' in Seongsu-dong, located near Seoul Forest, which is leased from Seongdong-gu and will be used as a parking lot, park, and performance venue until 2-3 years after the lease ends. This project is a competition in which Seongdong-gu selects a business operator to use a part of the site as a cultural space, and creates a temporary structure that must be demolished when the lease expires after 2-3 years of use.

1. A new attraction in Seoul where art becomes everyday life   

A new cultural center in Seoul where various events take place 365 days a year as a complex cultural space that combines a large EDM performance center with a capacity of about 3,000 people, a 700-pyeong media art exhibition hall, and a rooftop courtyard with F&B. 

2. Global Multicultural Art Platform

A popular experiential art space where people can experience music, art, education, and performance simultaneously, reflecting the growth and demand of K-POP and recent changing trends in performance culture.   

3. A three-dimensional landscape that interacts with art

Dynamic landscapes are created with the motif of cobblestones, an old scenic spot in Jungnangcheon, and symbolism is given through iconic skins that stimulate imagination and curiosity.
